  3. Welcome to the AGA software compilation Disk One.

  7. All programs will work on AGA/KS3.0 equiped Amigas, some will work with
  8. ECS/KS3.0, ECS/KS2.04 or (even!) OCS/KS1.3 Amigas.
  9.  
  10. All doc files have icons but not all programs were supplied with icons
  11. so I did not add any.  More (the standard text reader) must be in
  12. the WorkBench Path to view the docs (ie if you are reading this then
  13. it probably is!).  More is found in the SYS:Utilities drawer.

  15. Also, this disk is formatted with the FastFileSystem.  Only KS2.04 or
  16. greater supports FFS on floppys, so don't wonder why the disk is
  17. unreadable on a KS1.3 or less system!

  19. I hope you find some of these programs useful.

  25. AGA TEST:
  26.         Shows all the 2^24 colors on an AGA HAM8 screen.
  27.           *** Requires: AGA.
  28.  
  29. AMIGA TO NTSC/PAL:  (v39.2/Release 1.2)
  30.         Patches graphics.library so it will open DBL versions of the
  31.         NTSC or PAL monitors; offering enhanced mode promotion to the 
  32.         display type of your choice.
  33.           *** Requires: KS2.0 or 3.0, ECS or AGA chip set.
  34.  
  35. BBLANK:  (v39.1)
  36.         Turns on or off the black border around screens on AGA machines.
  37.           *** Requires: KS3.0, ECS or AGA.
  38.  
  39. CHECKAGA:  (v1.0)
  40.         Simple program to check for the existence of the AGA chip set
  41.         and report back a message.
  42.           *** Requires: Any Amiga. (not tested on KS2.04 or 1.3)
  43.  
  44. CYCLETOMENU:  (v1.10)
  45.         Allows you to use popup menus with the standard gadtools cycle
  46.         gadjets; allowing easier and faster selection.  Includes KS3.0
  47.         support for black on white menus.
  48.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or greater.
  49.  
  50. DOUBLEX:  (v1.00)
  51.         Promote all screens to a DBL equivalent, regardless of the type
  52.         of screen they request.
  53.           *** Requires: AGA.
  54.  
  55. FORCE_VGA:  (v2.0)
  56.         For those with only VGA monitors.  Will force all screens to
  57.         VGA scan rates.
  58.           *** Requires: KS3.0. ECS or AGA.
  59.  
  60. GIF_DATATYPE:  (v39.3)
  61.         A GIF DataType that allows MultiView or software that supports
  62.         WB3.0 DataTypes to recognise GIF 87 & 89 pictures.
  63.           *** Requires: KS3.0.

  65. PKLUDGE:  (v1.0)
  66.         Promotes any graphics mode or named screen to any other resolution
  67.         optionally setting size and position.
  68.           *** Requires: KS3.0.

  70. PPSHOW:  (release 3.0a, or version 39.471)
  71.         Shows normal IFF ILBM files or those crunched with
  72.         PowerPacker.  Also plays standard Op5 ANIMS.  Also included is a
  73.         patch program to get ASL, ARP and REQ file requestors to use the
  74.         REQTOOLS requestors for a more standard requestor across all 
  75.         software.
  76.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or higher.
  77.  
  78. REND24:  (v1.05.50)
  79.         Converts all types of IFF files (including 24 bit), GIF,
  80.         JPEG into displayable IFF or creates Op5 ANIMS from multiple files. 
  81.         Also HAME and DCTV support.
  82.           *** Requires: Any Amiga.
  83.  
  84. VIEWTEK:  (v1.04.38)
  85.         ILBM/ANIM viewer.  Recognises IFF-24, GIF, JPEG, and ANIM
  86.         Op5 and Op7 formats, amongst others.  Includes ANIMOp7
  87.         creator.
  88.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or greater.
  89.  
  90. WBVERLAUF:  (v1.5)
  91.         Creates background copper lists on the WorkBench screen.
  92.           *** Requires: AGA Chip Set.

  112. 17/2/93 - Upgraded AmigatoNTSC (et al) from 39.1 to 39.2
  113.         - Installed new versions of RTPatch, reqtools.library (38.1022)
  114.           and ReqTools preference editor into the PPShow directory.
  115. 21/3/93 - Upgraded VT from 1.03b to 1.04.  The supplied files have nearly
  116.           doubled in length from the last release, so Plasma and Degrader
  117.           have been moved to disk 3.
  118.  2/4/93 - Release 3.
  119.           Upgraded GIF datatype from 39.2 to 39.3.
